Dennis Fanale Covered Bridge Cruise

On Sunday October 25, MCCPA held the Annual Dennis Fanale Covered Bridge Cruise. Denny was responsible for the idea for to have a Covered Bridge Cruise. The cruise snakes through Lancaster county ‘s covered bridges. This year weather started strangely dry, with some showers later in the cruise. Still the weather was a huge improvement over the last couple of years. Thanks to Mike Cole and his support staff for all the hard work to make the Dennis Fanale Covered Bridge Cruise happen.

First stop is registration.

You may want to wait until after the cruise to clean your Mustang…

Many of the participants enjoyed a great breakfast or snacks at Oregon Dairy.

Time for a quick huddle with Santa before starting.

Finally, the cruise is on. The first leg is split into two parts, one group goes right and one group goes left. They then meet in the middle.
Some like to go counterclockwise...
Some like to go clockwise...but you are all nuts!

Stop at the Robert Fulton Fire Co. They were nice enough open the building and bathrooms for us.
Time to hit the road.

There is the rain…it must rain.

Back out for more Covered Bridges, look it is Fred and Scott.

Mustangs go in.

Mustangs come out. OK, they were not all in the bridge the same time.
Drone view of all coming through!

We are finally here and hungry. Hi Abe!

It is a Covered bridge tradition to end at Hershey Farms with a great Dinner!

Bonus pics of the bridge in the photos. Thanks to Scott, Fred, Diane, and Bob for the pics. Tim who took all the cool Drone footage! Special thanks to Mike, Deb, Deb and Bob for all the hard work to get the cruise ready.

See you next year, October 24, 2021!
