Denny Fanale Memorial Covered Bridge Cruise.
On Sunday, October 30, Many MCCPA members attended the MCCPA 14th Annual Denny Fanale Memorial Covered Bridge Cruise. This year the weather may have been the best we ever had. The cruise started the day gathering at Oregon Dairy, many came a little early for breakfast. Once gathered up, we split in to two groups for the first segment. One group goes clockwise and one counterclockwise allowing the two groups to pass each other at the halfway mark. The first Segment ended back at Oregon Dairy. For the second segment everyone left together for more Covered Bridges ended at Oregon Dairy for a group meal.
Oregon Dairy restaurant has the best breakfast, you even get a donut and glass of milk free.
Bob and Deb Kuhns headed up the registration with help from Tim and Mike.
Mike gives last minute Instructions and rallies the troops for victory against Mile Markers.
Mike Cole led the Green Group and Bob Kuhns lead the Pink Group.
Wait is there another Cruise happening today?… no it is the other Group!
At the midpoint of segment One, the two teams cross, it is like a double parade.
Sometimes you want to show your car, sometimes race it, sometimes you just to cruise with friends though beautiful scenery.
The only thing better than going through a Covered bridge is going through a bunch of Covered Bridges.
The Big Box stores have had Christmas stuff out for months, but this is kids is the real Santa Claus.
