The Carlisle Ford Nationals
From May 31 through June 3, Many MCCPA members attended the Ford Nationals. The Ford Nationals is a renowned National Ford show. The Event brings in thousands of Fords of all types. Ford Performance also attends and has large presence. The show is also in the middle of the MCCPA territory. The four days of the Ford Nationals are action packed with fun. During the four days members attended Ford Performance seminar and roundtables, had 150 members over for a super barbeque lunch, met with celebrities including a visit from John Clor. MCCPA member Sparky won a $2500 Ford performance parts giveaway and MCCPA won 3rd place in the club challenge. What a great event!
Thursday May 31 was set up day. The main goal was to put up the banner frame, banners and tables. The weather forecasted rain and thunderstorms for the week, to our surprise it stayed dry.
Friday June 1, day two of the Carlisle Ford Nationals was great! MCCPA welcomed new members, made new friends, listened to John Clor and got a look at the new Shelby Super Snake.

Shane was in a new location, He kept busy all week.
Part of John Clor’s talk was focused on bringing the younger generation into our sport. Bradley Belcher is the founder of the Millennial Mustang Registry. The mission of the MMR is to bring the next generation to the Ford family.
Saturday June 2 everything is at full throttle. The few empty space in the show field filled up. Our tent was the happening place. The focus of the day was the excellent catered meal from Horner’s BBQ. The forecasted rain never came.

MCCPA members were honored to be invited to round table with Ford Performance members. The roundtable topics included feedback on Ford Performance products and ways to better for Ford Performance to interface with the clubs.
John Clor visited our tent on a couple of occasions. John official title is the Enthusiast Communications Manager at Ford Performance. What a cool job!
The Saturday lunch serves as a great gathering of MCCPA members. Thanks to all that helped.

The Ford Nationals had many celebrities that were in attendance, including Dave Kindig and Steve Saleen. Steve was nice enough to sign long time MCCPA member Dale Warner’s Saleen.

Doug Zarker has agreed to become the next MCCPA Property Manager, Dale gladly handed over the keys to the storage unit. Thanks to Doug for stepping up to help.
MCCPA won 3rd place in the Club Challenge. The award is based on the number of registered club members. RMR one first and Focus Rising won second. MCCPA has enough members to easily win first, a great goal for next year.
