Twas the night before the Covered Bridge Tour
Twas the night before the Covered Bridge Tour,
when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The Mustangs were polished with care,
In hopes that St Mike soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of Hershey’s Buffet danced in their heads.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a Red Mustang, with redline tires.
He sprang to his Mustang, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Bridge Tour to all, and to all a good-night!"
On Saturday October 24, MCCPA members along with some out of town visitors toured the Sieverling Antique Car and Pedal Car Museum. The Sieverling Antique Car and Pedal Car Museum is located in Ephrata PA. The Museum has an extensive collection of pedal cars, two antique cars, and a restored 1967 Ford T5 (German Mustang) Fastback. After the tour, the Covered Bridge tour was run one more test run.
The Museum has an incredible collection of Pedal cars, any child’s (or adult) dream.
In Germany the Mustang was branded the T5. Examples of the T5 are rare in the US.
Mike thinks the T5 needs Red line tires….
One last test of the Covered Bridge route.
