25th Anniversary of MCCPA
at the Carlisle Ford Nationals
Sunday June 4, the winners are announced. MCCPA won 2nd in the 2017 Club Challenge! Several MCCPA members won trophies in their classes. Some of the winners participated in the Winners Parade. Congratulations to all the winners. I cannot wait until next year.
Hanging out one more time in our 40x30 tent. It was fun to have our own club house for a couple of days. The Husky may be our new mascot, we have not had success getting a pony into a Mustang.

Saturday June 3, what a day! The Sun came out and so did the Fords. The tent was busy all day and we welcomed in a bunch of new members. We had a few members over for lunch, basically the size of a wedding reception. The lunch was excellent and catered by Horner’s BBQ. We also had some past MCCPA Presidents at the tent to help celebrate our 25th anniversary!
Getting ready for lunch, yum 25th MCCPA Anniversary cake!
Back to work. Vice President Paul is checking the shirt list.
Pre lunch snack.
Past MCCPA Presidents Charlie Boyd, Kathy Armstrong and Christian Shriver.
Past MCCPA Presidents with present MCCPA President Max Remington and MCCPA Historian Terry Weidemann.
On Friday June 2, MCCPA members were in full swing, manning the tent, signing up new members, giving out prizes and selling some MCCPA merchandise. The show field was nearly filled. I cannot wait see how many show up tomorrow!
The Ford GTs did a parade lap around the show field, it was cool…of course it would have better if it was Mustangs.
Question: How many MCCPA members does it take to put up the banners?
Answer: All of them.
On Thursday June 1, MCCPA members completed the first phase of set up for our 40x30 tent. The weather is forecasted
for a clear Ford Nationals, this is a greet relief after a very wet spring here in Central PA. MCCPA is ready for a great Ford
We hope to see all the MCCPA members at the tent and hope to meet some new members!
