The general purpose of this club is to preserve, maintain and
enjoy the Mustang starting with the initial model manufactured
in 1964 up to and including current models. All Mustangs are
welcome from project cars and daily drivers to high end collector
Mustangs. If fact you do not have to own a Mustang to join!
MCCPA has about 250 members and participated in over fifity
events and twelve club meetings in 2016. In 2017 we plan to do
even more including the All Ford Nationals at Carlisle and the
MCCPA's annual Mustang RoundUp Car Show which is September
2nd at the Carlisle fairgrounds.
MCCPA is a regional club of Mustang Club of America.
General membership meetings are held at Giant Food, 3301 Trindle road, Camp Hill. Once in the Giant foods, go the left side
of the building, go up the stairs to the community room.
The January meeting will held on Saturday starting at 1pm, all following meetings will be held on Thursdays starting at 7pm.
The MCCPA Banquet is November 18, 2017. The next regular meeting is January 12, 2018 from 1-4.

MCCPA Banquet and Mystery Cruise
On Saturday October 21, Several MCCPA members and some friends cruised to the Simione Museum in Philadelphia. On Saturday November 18, MCCPA’s held it the annual Banquet. The day started with a Mystery Cruise designed by Barb Bloom. The cruise ended at Kauffman's Bar-B-Que Restaurant in Bethel. Kauffman's BBQ is known for their chicken, it was excellent. After dinner, the final meeting of the year started. The 2018 Board was elected and MCCPA participation awards where handed out. 2017 was a great year for MCCPA, we cannot wait for 2018!
MCCPA Covered Bridge Cruise Tour
On Sunday October 29, MCCPA held the Annual Covered Bridge Tour. As with most of our 2017 events, it was a wet day, but the rain brought out the bright colors. The 2017 Covered Bridge Tour was dedicated to Dennis Fanale. Dennis passed away Sunday, August 13th at the age of 65. Denny was a long time member and past Vice President of the Mustang Club of Central PA. A little known fact is that Denny was the guy who came up with the idea for the Covered Bridge Cruise. He approached Mike Cole with the idea in the summer of 2008 and asked him to devise a route since Mike lives in Lancaster County, and was more familiar with the area and a Cruise was born.
The Halloween Harvest Trunk or Treat
On the eve of the Covered Bridge Tour on Saturday October 28, Several MCCPA members and out of town friends attended the Halloween Harvest Trunk or Treat. The event was presented by Hempfield Cops and Rodders and held at Scoops Ice Cream and Grill in Mountville. All the participating vehicles brought wrapped candy for the little spooks. The Boy Scouts made smores and Scoops gave each costumed child a free scoop of ice cream.
The Markets at Shrewsbury Cruise In in October
On Friday October 27, Several MCCPA members headed to The Markets at Shrewsbury Cruise In. Even though it is getting dark earlier and cooler, the Markets of Shrewsbury can still fill the field. Throw in some Trick or Treat and the good food from the food vendors at the Markets at Shrewsbury and you get a good time.
CJ's Fall Car Meet and Cruise
On Sunday October 22, Several MCCPA members participated in the CJ's Fall Car Meet and Cruise. The events started with a show at Cjs Pony Parts then a cruise to the ACAA museum in Hershey. MCCPA members ended the day with dinner at Skyline Restaurant.
Bernie Smith Memorial Car and Truck Show
On Saturday, October 21, Some MCCPA members headed to the Bernie Smith Memorial Car and Truck Show. The show is held at the Intersection Church in Gettysburg.
MCCPA Fall Cruise to
the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum
On Saturday October 21, Several MCCPA members and some friends cruised to the Simione Museum in Philadelphia. This was the MCCPA fall cruise combining highway and city driving. The members enjoyed a guided tour of the Simione Museum. The Museum has an incredible collection of special cars with a racing history. Most of the automobiles are in running condition and sometimes actually driven. After the tour, most headed to Victory Brewing Company in Downingtown for some good food.
Porky's Place BBQ Car Show
On Sunday October 15, Some MCCPA members attended the Porky's Place BBQ Car Show. The show featured an inside basket raffle, door prizes, 50/50 and of course some great BBQ. The Proceeds support the House of HOPE.
On Friday October 13 through Saturday October 14, the usual suspects headed to Concord, NC for Foxtoberfest. Foxtoberfest is the celebration of all fox body Mustangs! On Friday the group headed to Daniel Carpenter's private Fox-Body Collection, followed by a meet and greet at Cabarrus Brewing Company. Saturday was all about the show had they were estimating over 500 Fox bodies were there. They also had a swap meet, Dyno, food trucks, and Fox Resto merchandise.
Capital City Car Wash Cruise In
On Saturday, October 14, Several MCCPA members headed to the Capital City Car Wash Cruise In. Capital City Car Wash is located in Camp Hill. MCCPA member Scott Clayton hosted the show that featured free food, free registration, door prizes and trophies.
FordTober Fest Show
On Sunday October 8, Some MCCPA members attended the FordTober Fest Show at Maguire's Ford Lincoln in Palmyra. The cursed 2017 rain bug continues to effect show cause a light turnout; however day was mostly rain free. The Lebanon Elks Club and staff of Maguire's Ford Lincoln did a great job with the show.
Pumpkin Fest Car Show
On Saturday, October 7, Several MCCPA members attended the 2017 Pennsboro Pumpkin Fest Car Show. The show was held at Adams-Ricci Park in Enola. The Show had a nice dry day. This year’s Car Show is sponsored by the Friends of Recreation for EP Parks, All proceeds benefit Friends of Recreation for EP Parks.
On Sunday, September 17, Some MCCPA members attended the 22nd Cumberland Valley Classic Car Club Show. CVCCC Show was held at the Carlisle Fairgrounds on open to all makes and models. MCCPA had a strong showing of winning cars.
Camaro VS Mustang Show
On Sunday September 17, A few MCCPA members attended the Camaro VS Mustang show. The show is held at Scoops Ice Cream and Grill in Mountville. The threats of weather again lighten the turn out, but the good news is that the Mustangs outnumbered the Camaros.
16th Annual Neffsville Car Show
On Saturday September 16, Several MCCPA members headed to the 16th Annual Neffsville Car Show. The show is held at the Manheim Township Community Park. The show is known for having a large amount of fine automobiles. The show also featured live music and unbelievable grand prize of diamond earrings.
St. John's UCC Car Show
On Saturday July 9, Several MCCPA members attended the St. John's UCC car show in New Oxford. The Show benefitted Make A Wish. The weather was much better than last week. Another fun car show.
16th Annual Mustang Week
For the week of September 4-10, Several MCCPA members headed to Myrtle Beach for Mustang Week. This the 16th Annual Mustang Week Car Show with a new time of year and a new location at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. It is my understanding that the worst Hurricane in Myrtle Beach was the fruity tasting drink.
14th Annual Mustang Round Up
On Saturday, September 2, of Labor Day weekend, MCCPA held the 14th Annual Mustang Round Up. The forecast said no rain until late afternoon...I think they meant rain until late afternoon. The still the turnout was great for a car show on a wet day. Thanks to the hard work of MCCPA members, this year we had by far the best door prizes, basket raffle and silent auction items. We also had Horner’s BBQ to supply everyone with great (and hot) food all day. We thank RMR for making a great showing and a big thanks to Carlisle Events for the venue.
The Markets at Shrewsbury Cruise In
On Friday August 25, Several MCCPA members headed to The Markets at Shrewsbury Cruise In. The Cruise In draws a lot of autos, many Mustangs. Being the week before our Mustang Round Up, this is a great opportunity to hand out Mustang Round Up Flyers. The food vendors at the Markets at Shrewsbury Cruise In are also top notched.
American Muscle Mustang Show
On Saturday August 12, Several MCCPA members headed to the American Muscle Mustang Show. The show is billed as the one of the biggest Mustang shows. As many of car shows of this year there was a threat of rain, but the weather held out. Thanks to Daryl Ludwig for leading the event.
Sizzle-N-Chill Cruise In
On Sunday, August 6, MCCPA held the Sizzle -N- Chill Cruise In. It was a nice Sunday afternoon to hang out with nice cars, friends and of course great food. By the way, the Peach Sundae is excellent.Come join us next month!
The Chicken Show
On Saturday, August 5 Several MCCPA members attended the Chicken Show at St. David’s Lutheran Church in Hanover. The day was a welcome cool day compared to the heat of late. The Show had about 280 cars participate. The highlight of the show is a free chicken dinner for all registered cars. The dinner was great as well as the show.
MCCPA goes to Knoebels Amusement Resort
On Saturday July 29, several members of MCCPA attended the annual MCCPA goes to Knoebels Amusement Resort. Knoebels is located in the hills of Elysburg. Although the weather was iffy in Southern York county, the weather was perfect up in Elysburg. Most of the day was in the 70s with Sunny skies. And by tradition we all met for dinner at the Alamo restaurant for Chicken and waffles.
Dairy Queen Car Show
On Saturday evening, July 23, some MCCPA members attended the Dairy Queen Car Show presented by Berks County Mustang Car Club. Berks County Mustang Car Club is MCCPA's sister club to the east. The two clubs are very much like, mostly that most of our shows have included rain this year. But Any car show with ice cream is always a winner.
Helping Hometown Heroes Car Show
On Saturday, July 23, members from MCCPA attended the Helping Hometown Heroes Car Show in Littlestown, PA. The show benefited wounded veterans of all branches of the United States Military. There were 150+ Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles on the showfield . The weather held off for the most part, until just before the awards were handed out. A another great show for a great cause!
CJ's Summer Car Show
On Sunday July 16, MCCPA members attended the CJ's Summer Car Show. The day started with a breakfast at Skyline Family Restaurant, and then we headed to CJ Pony Parts. The Show was well attended and included a live band, a scratch and dent sale and food vendors. The show proceeds benefited Hospice and Community Care.
Sizzle-N-Chill Cruise In
On Thursday July 13, MCCPA held the Sizzle -N- Chill Cruise In. The threat of severe weather kept most the cars home, but a brave few came out. Even with the low turnout there was a nice selection of cars and of course good food from Sizzle -N- Chill.
Spring Muscle Car Mayhem at Performance Motors of Hanover
On Saturday July 8, MCCPA held the Spring Muscle Car Mayhem at Performance Motors of Hanover. Unlike the rain that postponed the original April date, we had a nice sunny day. It was a perfect day to take a car out of the garage. We thank the folks at Performance motors for allowing us to have the Mayhem shows.
MCCPA Meet N Greet Picnic and Cruise
On Saturday July 1, MCCPA held the annual July 4 Meet N Greet Picnic and Cruise. The Event allows new members to meet the membership with some MCCPA style fun. The Cruise this year was themed a Mystery Cruise.
All American Mustang Show
On Sunday, June 25, several MCCPA Members attended the All American Mustang Show located in East York, sponsored by The York Mustang Club and Parma Pizza.
Leg Up Farm Car and Cycle Show
On Saturday June 24, finally a nice day for a car show! MCCPA helped our charity Leg Up Farm to run the 2nd Annual Leg Up Farm Car and Cycle show. There was some late night rain that keep as many cars arriving early this year, but the Cars keep arriving all day. Leg up Farm is a non-profit therapy center in York County, Pennsylvania for children with special needs. MCCPA is proud to have them as our charity.
Sizzle -N- Chill Cruise In
On Thursday June 22, Several MCCPA members met up at the Sizzle -N- Chill Cruise In. The Sizzle N Chill show had 32 registered vehicles on the show field. The show had a great variety of cars. The show had to be cut short due to the storms that rolled through, but everyone had a great time. Sizzle -N- Chill Cruise In recurs monthly and the next event is July 13th, see you there!
4th Annual Thunder on the River Car Show
On Saturday June 17, MCCPA members again covered two shows. Several members attended the 4th Annual Thunder on the River Car Show. The show takes over on Locust Street in downtown Columbia. Columbia is located on the east bank of the Susquehanna River, thus the name. Columbia Lions Club and SVCC combine to organize this show. Let’s hope for better weather for the Sizzle -N- Chill Cruise In and Leg Up Farms shows!
BCMCC 8th Annual Haldeman Ford of Kutztown Show
On Saturday June 17, MCCPA members again covered two shows. Some members headed to Kutztown for the Berks County Mustang Car Club BCMCC 8th Annual Haldeman Ford of Kutztown Show. The weather held off although seemed threating all day. MCCPA member Bob Swartzell won a Top Pick award and other MCCPA members won gift baskets.
LCBC Motorsports Show
On Saturday June 10, Several MCCPA members attended the 18th Annual LCBC Motorsports Show. The LCBC Show is annually held at the main LCBC campus in Manheim. The show attracts a real variety of cars, trucks and motorcycles. The show also provides free coffee and Maple Donuts and Turkey Hill Ice Cream for an afternoon treat. There was also plenty of food vendors available.
25th Anniversary of MCCPA at the Carlisle Ford Nationals
June 1-4, Wow what a great four days! The Sun came out and so did the Fords. The tent was busy all weekend and we welcomed in a bunch of new members. We had a few members over for lunch. The lunch wes basically the size of a wedding reception. The lunch was excellent and catered by Horner’s BBQ. We also had some past MCCPA Presidents at the tent to help celebrate our 25th anniversary! MCCPA won 2nd in the 2017 Club Challenge! Several MCCPA members won trophies in their classes. Some of the winners participated in the Winners Parade. Congratulations to all the winners. I cannot wait until next year.
VFMC 36th Chester County Mustang Show
Double Trouble! On Sunday, May 28, Several MCCPA members attended the VFMC 36th Chester County Mustang Show and the Chester County Antique Car Club Show both at Kimberton Fairgrounds. This was also the second show attended by MCCPA on Memorial weekend...and I thinking I am seeing double Grabber Green Boss 302s.
13th Annual Fireman's Festival and Country Cruise
On Saturday May 27, Several MCCPA members headed to the 13th Annual Fireman's Festival and Country Cruise at Oregon Dairy is in Lititz. The Market at Oregon Dairy includes the restaurant, the market and the Farmstead. Oregon Dairy is well known by MCCPA as the starting point for the Covered Bridge Tour.
Sizzle-N-Chill Cruise In
On Saturday May 20 members headed to Sizzle-N-Chill for a cruise in. The day was a little chilly. The best thing for a chilly day is good hot food. So it all worked out. The Sizzle-N-Chill owner Ted Atanasoff provided three awards for Best Stock, Best Modified and Best Engine Compartment.
NMRA Motorsport Nationals Day 2
On Sunday May 7, several MCCPA members returned to the NMRA Motorsport Nationals Car Show. The word for the second day was MORE. MORE meaning more cars and unfortunately, more rain. The rain kept all the Fords off the drag track. Still overall a good day and MCCPA appreciated the opportunity to be the host club for the NMRA Motorsport Nationals at the Maple Grove Raceway.
NMRA Motorsport Nationals Day 1
On Saturday May 6, several MCCPA members braved the rain and drizzle to be the host club for the car show at the NMRA Motorsport Nationals. This is day one of the event. The NMRA Motorsport Nationals was held at the Maple Grove Raceway. Although most of the day was overcast, the car show still had a nice selection of nice Fords and Drag racing.
Real Steal Car Show
On Sunday, April 30, some MCCPA members attended the Real Steal Car Show. The Real Steal Car Show was sponsored by Rite Aid with all proceeds going to the Children's Miracle Network. This was the first time for this event and had a strong showing of 191 cars. Big Bird, Elmo and Cookie Monster even made an appearance!
Spring MCCPA Cruise to Penn's Cave and Beyond
On Saturday April 29, MCCPA held the annual Spring Cruise. This year the Cruise started with a meet up breakfast at Perkins, followed by a stop to pick up more members. All cruised to the Penn’s Cave in Centre Hall, PA. Most went on a very cool boat trip through Penn’s Cave. Next was a bus tour through the Wildlife Park. Most agreed they were hungry, so we cruised toward Penn State to Letterman’s Sports Grill for a late lunch. Since we were so close to Penn State we headed to the Penn State Creamery for some Penn State ice cream. What a great DAY!
CJ’s Spring Car Meet and Cruise 2017
On Sunday April 23rd members of MCCPA attended CJ Pony Parts Spring Car Meet and Cruise. There were over 130 cars in all. CJ's provided a free T-Shirt to each driver, and also provided Coffee, Juice, and Donuts. There was a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Humane Society of the Harrisburg area that was won by a MCCPA member, and also another raffle was held for gift cards. A MCCPA member also won a gift card. At the end of the Car Meet a check was presented to the Humane Society for $5,000. Around 12 noon a drivers meeting was held for those wishing to join the cruise thru the Harrisburg and Hershey area. A great time was had by all in attendance and a big thanks to CJ Pony Parts for providing the Hospitality, Coffee, Juice and Donuts.
Cruise to Grumpy's
On Saturday April 15 after the Sizzle-N-Chill Cruise in, several MCCPA members met up to cruise to the America on Wheels Museum. The highlight of the Museum was the Mustang II concept car. After the Museum, the group cruised to Grumpy’s Bar-B-Que Roadhouse for some great Barbeque. This was part 2 of the National Mustang day celebration. Cruise, Fun and Eat, See a pattern? MCCPA has a long tradition of including Grumpy’s in a Spring MCCPA Cruise.
Sizzle-N-Chill Cruise In
On Saturday April 15 members gathered at the Fort Hunter Mansion and Park to start a cruise to Sizzle-N-Chill for a show and great food. This was part 1 of the National Mustang day celebration. The Sizzle-N-Chill owner Ted Atanasoff provided three awards for Best Stock, Best Modified and Best Engine Compartment. The show had a great turnout of 47 cars registered and 50 cars in the field. As you can see in the event list above, MCCPA will be hosting several events at Sizzle-N-Chill 2017. If you missed this one, be sure to mark the next on your calendar.
Cars in the Battlefield
On Saturday April 8, MCCPA participated in the Cars in the Battlefield. Several MCCPA members left Cars and Coffee and headed for a meet up with MCCPA own Civil War reenactor Andy Bingaman. We headed to a staging area for cars to go in small groups. Andy took the lead to add some extra sights including reenactors firing their rifles and a photo shoot at a covered bridge.

On Saturday April 8, Several MCCPA members attended the first Cars and Coffee at Performance Motors of Hanover. This year was brisk, but none of the cars had snow in the grills like last year. The folks at Performance Motors had Hot Coffee and Munchkins waiting in the showroom.
Philadelphia Auto Show
On January 28, several MCCPA members attended the Ford’s Mustang Private Preview at the Philadelphia Auto Show. The Group shared breakfast and a presentation by Wally Hagen, Regional Marketing Manager for Ford Motor Company. Followed by Ken Appell, Event Manager of the Carlisle Ford Nationals. Finally up was Guest speaker, Jim Owens Ford Performance marketing Manager. Some MCCPA members arrived a day early for site seeing and Philadelphia cheesesteaks.
2017 MCCPA New Year's Party
On New Year’s Eve 2016, MCCPA members gathered to see the New Year in. The event was again held at ABC West Lanes located in Mechanicsburg. MCCPA members enjoyed bowling, food, drinks and even some door prises. A great way to start 2017!
